Parenting, like so many things in life, is all about balance. If you don't have enough boundaries for your kids, the results can be horrible, but the results can be just as bad with too much control.

Im going to say selfishness. When you become a parent I think that everything that you once knew is out the window and your focus should be on your children and raising them to be strong, smart, and compassionate individuals. Some parents still act selfishly and ditch their kids off on other people every night of the week to go party, I think when you have children you need to be there 100 percent for them and give them undivided attention.What's the worst character trait for parenting?
Probably irresponsibility. Without being cruel or uncaring, the results can be devastating, literally ruining or even ending a life.
cruelty. I can't imagine purposely hurting a baby or child, emotionally or physically.
