1. raised with shame and denial - parent might inflict repressive behavior on the child - resulting in child having hangups, body image problems, possibly bulimia, anorexia, suppressed urges resulting in possible criminal behavior
2. raised with natural acceptance - communication and acceptance and support - kid goes on to have a normal sex life and normal relationships - with typical periods of embarrassment, nervousness, curiosity, experimentation - but then growing out of that to be normal
3. raised with inappropriate exposure to sexuality or sexual abuse - exposes child inappropriately to sex or sexual abuse - resulting in inappropriate sexual acting out and possible sexual deviancy
