How can I convince my parents to get a puppy?

I parents don't think I have the responsibility to have a puppy.


And I reallyyyy want one!!


My dad said he maybe, but the thing is my dad wants a husky, and I want a cute small fluffy poodle.


But he disagree's because my dad despises yappy little dogs !

He has to live with the animal so if he can't be persuaded to get one then that's that. Yappy dogs are reaaally annoying so I can't blame him for not wanting one. There could be tons of reasons why parents won't allow pets: allergies, cost too much, not allowed where you live, smell, take too much time, etc. But if he's open to the idea then just keep doing whatever you can to convince him that you're responsible. Also maybe you can arrange to do something like extra chores or whatever. Remember to ';make adoption your first option'; as they say. :)
golden retriever. i have one. best dogs ever. maybe you two can agree on that and TRUST me you dont want a tiny dog (no offense to people that have them) but their annoying as hell. my neighbor has one and it NEVER shuts up and always chases me in my house. freaking dog.
Show you are responsible by doing lots of chores without being asked. My friend did that and it worked really well.
