I am 11 and all my friends have cell phones and it annoys me when all they do is text and on my report card I got all A and B!!!!! So please help me!How do I get my parents to get me a cell phone?

Well, if there like that, just start taking doing random stuff around the house, (if mom is more nice, so things for her, if dad, do nice thigns for him) like cleaning the kitchen without em asking, and really important, don't tell them why you want the phone, (bad move) but how it will teach you responibilty, and help you keep in touch with them in case of something, and don't ask for it, right after you do something good, they'll se through it, do nice random stuff around them for a few weeks, don't ask for a phone. untill they seem Open, also make you choose what type of phone you weant and how to get it, before hand, the longer uit takes to get somethign after you sucker ya parents the more chance of them cahnging there minds -.-
Show your parents that you're responsible enough. When I wanted a phone I did heaps of chores around the house and it made my mum realise that I'm responsible. lol it worked so I suggest you give it a go.


By the way don't go telling your parents that all your friends have them. It wont work :)

texting is not usually suppose to be for 11


year olds. you're far too young. Show your parents you are fully responsible for a cell phone. And when you gain their trust, they might possibly consider! =]
Start by asking for a TracFone. Show them that you are responsible with that. Then when your units expire ask for a cell phone :). Worked for me

11 is to young for a cell phone,your parents would like for your grades to remain high
