How can i ask my parents i want to get my belly pierced?

I really want to get my belly button pierced or the top of my ear lobe. i have said to mum that i really want it done but she says no. i have never really asked them and i dont really know how to. i think if i ask them they will say no but how can i convince them to say yes.

There's no way to EXACTLY convince your parents to say yes. Show them pictures of belly piercings, not the ones that have the rings that dangle, just the plain simple ones with the two gems on them. If infact, they DO let you get it, make SURE you take VERY VERY good care of it and clean it DAILY. Never skip a day. The piercing after care solution the piercer should give you, will do AMAZING work, and in 4-6 weeks, you should be ready to change it and put whatever you'd like in!








TIP: When you FIRST get it, that day and night after, make sure not to wear any clothing to irritate it. roll your shirts up so that there's nothing over the piercing. Do that when you MOSTLY can. I know school is starting now, so you can't exactly wear belly shirts or roll your shirts up, but when you get home, that's the best thing to do. The irritating of the shirt could make the healing process longer and more painful.

You can't change the jewelry for like four to six months, otherwise you pose a risk of infection and rejection. Christ, I'm not a professional piercer and I know more about piercings than people who claim they are ';professional';.





Anyway, nobody here knows your parents or what it would take to convince them to let you get these piercings you want. You never stated how old you are. If you're younger than, say, 15, then I can't blame them for not letting you get it done. If you are older, offer to save money to pay for it if they will consent. If nothing works then just be patient and wait until you're old enough.
i want one too my mom says NO as well. But ask her y if its because she doesnt want anyone to see it its your belly noone will see it under your shirt if its cuz shes afraid itll get infected tell her u will go to a clean one or if she dont trust the person buy a piercing kit ask a pro or her to do it. i no y my mom said no im 11 lol i want one wen im 14 so dont think im a dumbA$$ lol
